Kehao Thermal Engineering elevator kilns offer excellent temperature uniformity and are ideal for atmosphere control due to the lower temperature horizontal sealing of the hearth to the kiln. Our systems are achieving almost no oxygen atmosphere during production firings with electric heating.

This kind of kiln is particularly suitable for the technical and some time electronic ceramics industry for firing temperature up to 1760℃. Electric heating or natural gas burners are available for elevator kilns.

In its most basic form, the kiln requires minimal floor space. If the hearth is occupied by a kiln car, multiple cars can be used for a fast turn-around of the production cycles.
